The Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) announced an electrical event scheduled for 20th to 22nd June this year which they claim is the ‘must attend event of the year’.
The event will take place at the ICC in Birmingham and is said to include a prestigious gala awards dinner alongside the more expected conference, exhibition and technical workshops. The combination of different things taking place over the two day event, make it certainly one which stands out from other electrical events.
ECA has gained sponsorship for the event from leading manufacturers, wholesalers and industry bodies, and the event will also host the inauguration of the new ECA President for 2013 and their annual conference.
The event will host a variety of industry professionals who will provide discussions and presentations on different aspects of the industry including:
- Building Information Modelling
- Home Automation
- Intuitive Buildings
- Smart Technologies
Alongside these discussions, there will be a number of technical workshops and a trade exhibition with 40+ companies.
The conclusion of the two day event is the Gala Awards dinner, the first ever of its kind, which will take place on the evening of the 22nd June. This dinner celebrates and rewards achievements of ECA members in the industry over the last year.
ECA reported that the event is a step up from any other of its kind and will set a new standard for industry conferences and exhibitions in the future.
