Seaward Powercheck 1557 Checkbox

The Seaward PowerCheck 1557 Checkbox is a comprehensive PAT Tester and 17th Edition Installation Tester verification system in one rugged, drop-proof enclosure. It allows on-going performance checks to be carried out on test equipment to ensure accurate measurement between calibration intervals. Spot problems as soon as they occur and avoid the potentially large cost of retesting installations or appliances because an instrument is found to be inaccurate during calibration.

This checkbox fully tests Earth Continuity, Insulation Resistance, RCD Trip Time, RCD Trip Current, Loop, PE Conductor Current, Touch Current and Flash Tests. It can be used with Earth Continuiy or Earth Bond Testers up to 25A.

The Seaward PowerCheck 1557 Checkbox can be used to verify Loop Impedance and RCD Tests on RCD protected circuits - without tripping the RCD.

It tests to BS 7671, BS EN 61557, IET Onsite Guide and IEE Code of Practice. It has full instrument verification against all relevant standards and confirms performance between verifications (this is information required by NICEIC, ELECSA, Corgi and others).
