The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.
Flash Testing is a high tension insulation test which is no longer a requirement in normal PAT Testing. The only time it is required is after the replacement of a major component in an appliance, such as a motor.
This PAT Tester is suitable for testing IT and electronic equipment with a low current Earth Bond Test (usually either 100mA or 200mA).

Recent improvements to the Martindale MicroPAT Plus have made it one of the fastest testers available to purchase. The MPAT+ also allows you to download and manage your results quickly and easily.
Customised pass levels can be set through the menu, allowing you to test more uncommon items, such as those with long leads. Don’t be scared if you’re a novice user, because the MicroPAT+ can run in an automatic mode for your convenience.
Through usability testing, Martindale found out that the most productive and efficient PAT tester had simple menus with dedicated buttons for each test. Based on this initial research, Martindale developed the MicroPAT+ to incorporate these features.
PAT data from the MicroPAT plus can be downloaded into a software package such as SimplyPats. The MicroPAT+ also has connections for a scanner and printer.
