KT72 PAT Tester Kit 2 with Software Overview
These PAT Testers offer great flexibility as there is no need to plug them into a mains socket.
PAT Testers without memory require you to record results in a PAT Log Book. Results can be manually typed into software to create reports.
PAT Testers with an inbuilt lead length calculator for long cables and extension leads will save a lot of headaches.

The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.

Kewtech KT72 PAT Tester description
The Kewtech KT72 is a new portable appliance tester with an automatic test sequence.
The predecessor to this new KT72 is the Kewtech KT71. In this new version Kewtech have improved the usability by making it a battery powered tester. This increases the tester’s flexibility and ease of use as it is now able to test in difficult locations.
This PAT tester can be used for testing equipment with surge protection due to its 240v / 500v insulation test voltages. It will perform Earth bond at 200mA at +ve and –ve making it I.T. safe.
This PAT tester kit comes with a Simply Pats Manual v6 and an easy-to-use three colour LED light indicator system that aids your testing by making it much more straight forward.
A GREEN light indicates a PASS for all portable appliances, an AMBER Light indicates a PASS for all long lead portable appliances and extension leads, and finally a RED light indicates a FAIL due to earth continuity being greater than 0.20hms.
