KT72 PAT Tester Kit 1 Overview
These PAT Testers offer great flexibility as there is no need to plug them into a mains socket.
PAT Testers without memory require you to record results in a PAT Log Book. Results can be manually typed into software to create reports.
PAT Testers with an inbuilt lead length calculator for long cables and extension leads will save a lot of headaches.

The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.
This PAT Tester is suitable for testing IT and electronic equipment with a low current Earth Bond Test (usually either 100mA or 200mA).

The Insulation Test measures the insulation resistance of a device under test. A 250v Insulation Test overcomes problems in testing surge protected extension leads.

Kewtech KT72 PAT Tester description
The KT72 is the new PAT tester from Kewtech and has automatic test sequences.
Based on the mains powered KT71, the Kewtech KT72 has the added feature of being a battery powered tester. This allows for an easier and more flexible testing experience and is particularly useful for difficult locations such as, offices, server rooms and schools.
This tester includes features such as 240v / 500v insulation test voltages, used for testing equipment with surge protection. It performs Earth bond at 200mA at +ve and –ve which makes it I.T. safe. Testing with the KT72 is straight forward due to its LED three colour system;
Green – PASS for all portable appliances.
Amber – PASS for all long lead portable appliances and extension leads.
Red – FAIL due to earth continuity being greater than 0.20hms.
This portable appliance is ideal for any small business. It is light weight, reliable and is very easy to use.
