PAT Testers without memory require you to record results in a PAT Log Book. Results can be manually typed into software to create reports.

The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.
This PAT Tester is suitable for testing IT and electronic equipment with a low current Earth Bond Test (usually either 100mA or 200mA).
These PAT Testers offer a wider range of tests and are powered by a mains socket.
Most industrial and construction equipment is powered by 110v. A 110v Run Test (also known as Load Test) is required for this.

Description
The PAT320 from Megger is an all new PAT tester to the market. This latest Megger PAT is part of the 300 series of testers.
This tester was designed to simplify PAT testing. The design means that you select which test that you want to complete by pushing the dedicated test button.
The Megger PAT320 can do a range of tests on portable appliances including the Class 1, Class 2, Extension leads, IEC power leads, used on a lot of IT equipment, it also carries out RCD tests. The tester has an automatic test mode for carrying out the Class 1 and Class II testing.
The “auto” mode tests sequentially through bond, insulation and operation, displaying a pass or fail result for each test.
This tester is great for electricians who occasionally carry out some PAT testing and don’t need a downloadable tester that stores test results.
When a fail is detected the tester will stop testing. You can set the parameters of testing for each test such as the bond current, insulation and leakage. You can also carry out individual tests, for example, following a repair, or if you have had a suspect reading.
The other tester available in this range is the Megger PAT350 - this is a similar model with added flash test capability.
