PAT Testers with an inbuilt lead length calculator for long cables and extension leads will save a lot of headaches.
Generally, PAT Testers with a memory can be downloaded to reporting software. This can then be made into reports.

The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.
Flash Testing is a high tension insulation test which is no longer a requirement in normal PAT Testing. The only time it is required is after the replacement of a major component in an appliance, such as a motor.
This PAT Tester is suitable for testing IT and electronic equipment with a low current Earth Bond Test (usually either 100mA or 200mA).

The Megger PAT4DVF/3 PAT Tester is an advanced Portable Appliance Tester for testing 240v/110v and IT equipment. It is quick to start, test, download and upload. Full appliance and client details are stored in the Megger AVO PAT4DVF/3 along with test results. New appliances may be added as and where you find them. The QWERTY keyboard makes data entry easy.
