These PAT Testers offer great flexibility as there is no need to plug them into a mains socket.
PAT Testers without memory require you to record results in a PAT Log Book. Results can be manually typed into software to create reports.

The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.
This PAT Tester is suitable for testing IT and electronic equipment with a low current Earth Bond Test (usually either 100mA or 200mA).

First Stop Safety's BattPAT is the most cost effective PAT Tester on the market.
The BattPAT PAT Tester is ideal for novice users, second hand shops, charities and companies who only have a few items to test as it offers a simple pass or fail facility.
This battery powered PAT Tester, from First Stop Safety, is recharged via a mains charger and will test approximately 700 appliances between charges. It is neat, compact and has been designed for novices.
The BattPAT can't be easier to use: it has four buttons: Class I, Class I No Earth, Class II and Cables. This portable appliance tester is great for testing appliances with long cables as it has a long lead testing function. It can also PAT test Class 1 appliances where there is no earth, such as fans and document shredders within a shop or office for instance.
A built in IEC (International Electro technical Commission) Lead Socket allows you to test extension leads. The BattPAT PAT Tester also tests surge protected leads and adaptors, where most other testers in this price range do not.
