Why do I need a calibration certificate?

All testers are calibrated as standard when they are produced by the manufacturer. However a Calibration Certificate is not issued.

Most organisations quality systems require all test equipment to have a valid Calibration Certificate. This is evidence that all testing has been completed as accurately as possible. New PAT Tester Calibration and annual Calibration is an important part of your maintenance and quality records and acts as your evidence of compliance.
