These PAT Testers offer great flexibility as there is no need to plug them into a mains socket.
PAT Testers without memory require you to record results in a PAT Log Book. Results can be manually typed into software to create reports.
PAT Testers with an inbuilt lead length calculator for long cables and extension leads will save a lot of headaches.

The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.
This PAT Tester is suitable for testing IT and electronic equipment with a low current Earth Bond Test (usually either 100mA or 200mA).

Manual
This allows the tester to store an allocated number of tests. Results can be downloaded into reporting software but can only be viewed on screen if it is a manual PAT tester.

Description
This is one of a new range of PAT Testers from Martindale. The Martindale HandyPAT HPAT 600 PAT Tester is jam packed full of features found on more expensive PAT Testers, like the ability to set your own pass and fail limits.
The Martindale HandyPAT HPAT 600 PAT Tester does a 250v Insulation Tests so you are able to test surge protected extension leads and adaptors easily. It is ideal for testing IT equipment and carries out a 200mA Earth Bond Test.
Another feature of the Martindale HPAT600 is the ability to carry out testing automatically or manually. In manual mode you will see a diagram presented on how to carry out the test. The screen displays all of the readings as well as a pass or fail indication.
This tester also has a small memory to store up to 200 test results which can be read back on the screen to write down after testing. Please note that you cannot download data from this PAT Tester.
