These PAT Testers offer great flexibility as there is no need to plug them into a mains socket.
PAT Testers without memory require you to record results in a PAT Log Book. Results can be manually typed into software to create reports.
PAT Testers with an inbuilt lead length calculator for long cables and extension leads will save a lot of headaches.

The Earth Bond Test (Earth Continuity Test) is carried out on all earthed appliances. An Earth Bond Test shows whether the earth conductor is in a satisfactory condition.
This PAT Tester is suitable for testing IT and electronic equipment with a low current Earth Bond Test (usually either 100mA or 200mA).

The Insulation Test measures the insulation resistance of a device under test. A 250v Insulation Test overcomes problems in testing surge protected extension leads.

Description
The Martindale HandyPAT HPAT500 is a fantastic little PAT Tester for all of the low volume users who record tests manually. Safe for testing IT equipment the Martindale HandyPAT carries out a 200mA earth bond test and also has a built in extension and IEC lead socket.
A new addition to the hand-held PAT Tester range which is ideal for use where there is no convenient power socket. It's easy to use and reliable, with a simple one button, one test sequence selection. The Martindale HPAT500 HandyPAT PAT Tester displays measured values as well a "pass" or "fail" decision and comes complete with a mains charger.
